Warning signs that someone may be experiencing trafficking:

  • Signs of physical abuse, malnutrition or poor health
  • Someone else speaking for them or controlling their answers
  • Fearful, anxious or submissive behavior
  • Appears isolated from others
  • Avoids eye contact or interaction with authority figures
  • Does not know their location or personal information
